I wander around neighbourhoods, making observations such as the number of people walking by, or notable people that I see, and record them on plain, pale yellow sticky notes and leave them for others to find. Sometimes these notes are for imaginary people, and I pretend that I was waiting for someone but had to leave. Other times I record a spontaneous observation. Each note has the date and the intersection recorded, and although they are meant to be temporary, some have remained in place for over a month, although most have disappeared in less than a day.
