This single edition, single copy is a reproduction of the original Debates of the Canadian Senate, 1962-63, First Session, Twenty-Fifth Parliament, making use of text from the 1962 Senate hansard (debate transcripts) from the Canadian Federal Legislative Archives.

The pages retrieved from the archives are filled with evidence of both archival and reproduction processes such as darkened corners of photocopied dog eared corners, and have been printed, trimmed, before and hundreds of 1.5 inch holes have been cut into the pages randomly throughout. Finally, the pages have been bound into a single hardcover volume.

The offcuts from the cutting of circles have been made into hundreds of buttons that have been distributed through galleries and book fairs in Canada.
